Updates on our Regency Park Apartment Fire Survivors –
We want to thank the many folks who have stepped up to help our fire survivors. In particular, our media contacts have been doing an outstanding job of getting the word out on what is available for displaced citizens. That is very much appreciated as well as the ease of being able to send an email with press releases. That frees us up to do the work at hand. What a nice system- thank you all.
The Mt Zion Information Center and Churches United have been extremely helpful and have worked hard to make this difficult situation easier to handle. To date Churches United has been able to assist 15 families with household assistance and have other resources available. Hats off to the hard working folks at Churches United and Mt Zion for their efforts.
We want to stress that there is more help available at Churches United as more gift cards have been donated as well as other items.
